At Bodegas Murviedro, environmental policy and a commitment to preserving and caring for the environment are a fundamental part of the philosophy. they advocate sustainable viticulture and oenology, producing wines in harmony with the environment.
A large number of the vineyards are grown organically, using biodynamic techniques and methods of production and aging that are as respectful as possible. They also bet on vegan wines and avoid using products of animal origin in the winemaking process.
One of the main objectives is to reduce emissions, with which we have obtained the title for the reduction of gases "Carbon footprint registration, compensation and carbon dioxide absorption projects" granted by the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, and they are working on the improve electrical efficiency by installing solar panels, adjusting the consumption of our machines, replacing lighting with low-consumption LEDs, etc.
In terms of water and waste reduction, we have a modern purification system and we recycle the glass and cardboard used in the winery so that the impact on nature is minimal.
