    Description

    Bodega Luis Canas

    Founded in 1928, although the family can trace their roots in Rioja soil for two centuries. Luis Cañas Wineries have 90 organically managed hectares in the hills of the cooler Rioja Alavesa region, as well as long-term contracts with growers for an additional 200 hectares of mixed regime viticulture. This is a dynamic, forward-thinking producer that produces elegant, fruit-filled wines that are neither too oaky nor over-alcoholic.

    Luis Cañas Wineries is a family business that dates back to 1928, although the family has been in the grape growing and wine industry for over two centuries. Today it is one of the most important wineries of the Rioja Alavesa region. At Luis Cañas, the vinification process begins with 90 hectares of own vineyards and 200 hectares managed by their regular suppliers, spread over 815 plots. The winery is equipped with the latest modern winemaking systems to consistently produce wines of the highest quality.

    The results continuously win loyal customers and win prestigious national and international awards and ratings from the most important tastings and wine magazines in the world.
