On the eve of the 1997 harvest, Jean-Hubert DELON purchased Château Nénin, which until then had been owned by his cousins, the DESPUJOL family, since 1847. This purchase resulted in a major restructuring. The pruning and trellising of the vines was resumed, the terroir was drained, the vines were planted or uprooted, the equipment was modernized. The cultivation and storage cellars have been completely redeveloped, enlarged and equipped with air conditioning. To crown the total transformation of the building, a new barrel room was built, equipped with the most advanced equipment.
