    Arnaldo Caprai is recognized as the leading company in the production of Sagrantino di Montefalco, the great red wine produced from Sagrantino grapes, a unique vine that has grown only in the territory of Montefalco for over four hundred years.

    The sagrantino is a blue Italian grape variety, which has been cultivated for centuries on the hills around Montefalco in Umbria. This grape has two synonyms: sagrantino di Montefalco and sagrantino rosso
