    The Marquis d'Alban Réserve is a slender wine. Reserve means that the wine has had a little longer wood, which gives the wine that refined vanilla taste.

    The renowned house of Dulong Frères & Fils gave this wine a first-class education in oak barrels. From Cabernet and Merlot grapes with black currants, paprika and mild tannin in the aftertaste. That explains why, in addition to soft fresh berry fruit, its aroma also has nuances of wood, toast and vanilla.

    Nice and refreshing with a greasy dish such as Steak aux Poivre or Boudin.

    Marquis d'Alban was inspired by one of their ancestors, Alban Dulong, who was also called the Marquis. This wine produced by their talented team of winemakers reflects their strong ambition to produce wines of permanent quality.

    DULONG Frères et Fils produces the Marquis d'Alban wines

    Since ancient times, man has made great use of the exceptional resources of what would become the world's most prestigious wine-growing region. Thanks to its generous geology and favorable rainfall, the Bordeaux vineyard charms wine lovers around the world with its exceptionally diverse range of creamy, flavoursome wines.

    To receive the Bordeaux appellation, the grapes must come only from a specific geographic area and belong to the following grape varieties: Cabernet- Sauvignon , Merlot , Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot for red wines, Sauvignon , Sémillion and Muscadelle for white wines. A few other varieties can be used if they don't exceed a certain percentage.

    Red wines from vines that are at least 21 years old and aged for at least 12 months in oak barrels and some white wines are also allowed to use the Bordeaux Supérieur designation.

    Wine from Dulong Frères et Fils from Bordeaux are:

    Marquis d'Alban, Carayon La-Rose, Château Daliot, Château Haut Richard, Château Tour d'Albert, Pierre Chanau.
