Since 1997, when the Despagne family signed the "Charter of Quality and Integrated Enterprise Management", the quality and reputation of the wine has been steadily improving. Château Mezain has received many awards. The estate produces red and white wines, both classified in the Bordeaux appellation
The vintage 2015 has received a GOLD medal - LYON 2016
The vineyard of Château Mezain is located in the middle of the Entre-Deux-Mers region, on a loam / silt.
