Allegrini is a consolidated group of companies and one of the most dynamic and well-known wine producers in Italy and abroad. Its roots lie in Fumane di Valpolicella , where the Azienda Agricola was founded in 1854 and run, in the following decades, by successive generations of the Allegrini family.

In the Valpolicella Classico region, the Allegrini estate extends over some 100 hectares (247 acres); these plots are the cradle of very prestigious cru wines such as La Grola, Palazzo della Torre and La Poja and the birthplace of Amarone, a star in the constellation of great Italian red wines.

Corte Giarais the brand created in 1989 in response to the need to expand the company's range, also introducing international varieties known to the general public. This project has resulted in a range of young wines that can be enjoyed in different contexts and are easier to approach for consumers.

Poggio al Tesoro was founded in Bolgheri in 2001. It stemmed from the family's desire to expand into an area beyond its own native border, but it is also an expression of the love for an area that is ideally suited to producing of quality wines. The estate extends over approximately 70 hectares (173 acres), 60 of which are planted with vines. In Bolgheri, an area famous for its great international varieties, Allegrini produces modern, elegant wines that have always been recognized for their faithful interpretation of the terroir.

San Polo is the group's most recent acquisition. In 2007, Allegrini decided to invest in Montalcino, putting the family's dynamic and innovative spirit at the service of one of Italy's oldest appellations, creating a company with its eyes on the future and on new issues related to respect for the environment, as shown. by the ecologically inspired architecture of his winery. The estate is located on the southeastern slope of Montalcino and has an ideal terroir for the cultivation of Sangiovese , which exudes great finesse here in terms of finesse and elegance.

In 2008, Allegrini purchased Villa Della Torre in Fumane di Valpolicella , the masterpiece of the architect and designer Giulio Romano, a venue for prestigious cultural events and highly enjoyable eno-gastronomic tastings. Villa Della Torre Allegrini, which is absolutely unique in its genre and was built during the Renaissance period along the lines of the ancient Roman house or 'Domus Antiqua', is today the company's official headquarters and the flagship of Allegrini's hospitality services.
