Ophalum Blanco continues the avant-garde line marked by the previous vintages of this unmistakable label, illustrated by the drawing of a crescent moon with a human face and an entourage of small golden stars. Thanks to creations like this, which demonstrate an innovative style and the absolute and masterful mastery of Albariño, Adega e Viñedos Paco & Lola has become one of the most important companies in Rías Baixas in record time.
From the youngest vineyards that the company works in the heart of the Salnés valley, in loamy, granitic and slightly acidic soils, the best albariños have been selected to make Ophalum Blanco. The must obtained from these grapes was fermented for 21 days in stainless steel tanks, at a controlled temperature. The result is an aromatic and balanced young white ideal to enjoy with all kinds of snacks, cheeses, fish and dishes made with birds such as roast chicken.
