Prices

All our prices are stated in Euro, including VAT. The VAT percentage to be applied is 21%. The prices quoted provide no guarantees for the future. If, due to force majeure or dating, the prices of our printed price lists do not correspond to the online shop prices, those of the online shop will be decisive.

Sales contract

Receiving and ordering Alcohol

Not satisfied return guarantee

What guarantee do I have if the purchased wine is bad or has a corky taste? Since we also trade in older and exclusive wines, it is not possible for us to offer any form of guarantee - we always strive to deliver the highest quality product possible - but we cannot possibly offer any guarantee for wines older than 10 years.

 

As for cork taste - as this is already present in the cork at the time of bottling of the bottle, we cannot rely on the producer and it is not possible for us to offer any guarantee for this.

You can change or cancel your order within 14 days after it has been placed without giving reasons. Since we trade in perishable products, this does not apply to wines older than 10 years.

Right of withdrawal

“You have the right to cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving any reason, provided the seal has not been broken. After cancellation you have another 14 days to return your product, this money only applies to wines under 10 years old. You will then be credited with the full order amount including any shipping costs. Only the costs for returning from your home to the online store are at your own expense. These costs are approximately €7.50 per package, consult your carrier's website for the exact rates. If you exercise your right of withdrawal, the product will be returned to the entrepreneur with all accessories supplied and - if reasonably possible - in the original condition and packaging. Repossession

 

The consumer has the right to inform the company that he renounces the purchase, without payment of a fine and without stating a reason, within 14 calendar days from the day following the delivery of the good or the conclusion of the service agreement. In that case, the customer sends an email within the applicable period to info@wijnhandelgrandcave.nl that he will rely on it and that he will subsequently return the goods to the seller. Only the direct costs for returning the goods are borne by the customer.

Deliveries & collections

 

The delivery dates indicated on the Wijnhandel Grand Cave website are indicative, we always try to meet these.

As a registered web customer you have the choice between collection at a pick up parcel store or home delivery. You can choose from 5 different days with times when you want to receive your order.

In case of delivery to your home Wijnhandel Grand Cave undertakes to deliver your order within fourteen days. We usually deliver within two to three working days. Delivery takes place at the risk of the buyer, regardless of the person who carries out the transport. In the event of temporary, partial or complete depletion of the ordered goods, Wijnhandel Grand Cave will inform you of the correct situation. When stocks run out, Wijnhandel Grand Cave may replace the same wines with the following vintage, unless you as a customer explicitly indicate when ordering that this should not happen.

The quality of the goods is known to the buyer, even if the sale took place without prior tasting.

 

From 12 bottles, delivery is free throughout the Netherlands and Belgium. For a smaller order of less than 6 bottles, a contribution to the shipping costs of 10 Euro for home delivery will be charged. For the Netherlands this is 6.50 Euro between 6 and 11 bottles. Orders of 12 bottles or more are shipped free of charge to the Netherlands and Belgium. These prices include VAT. If the customer is present at the agreed time, the goods will be shipped according to the regulations of PostNL delivered.

It is easy and safe to purchase and pay for a wine of your choice. The process takes place in a few simple steps:
